EV Station Project

Hardware and software are only part of the equation. What separates
a Commercial EV Station project that succeeds from one that struggles
is the expertise behind it. Neon services guide you from funding
applications and site assessment through to deployment, commissioning,
and ongoing proactive maintenance.

Four pillars of service.

Neon supports you every step of the way from project definition
and deployment to maintenance and long-term performance
optimization of your commercial EV stations.

4

Active Network Management

Ongoing optimization of your commercial EV Station encompasses reliability, driver experience, pricing strategy, and utilization powered by market data and proactive recommendations for sustained ROI growth month over month.

01 — Consulting & Deployment

Start smart. Deploy right. Fund well

Most EV charging programs fail not because of bad hardware
but because of poor planning, missed funding, and mismatched
deployment design. Neon consulting eliminates all three.

Grant Identification & Application

Our grant team tracks every federal and provincial EV incentive. We identify what you qualify for, build compliant applications, and manage submission to approval.

Site Assessment & Electrical Analysis

We assess your site's electrical capacity, infrastructure, and growth potential then deploy the right chargers now, with room to expand later. Smart investment. Seamless scaling.

Custom Deployment Design

Every site is unique. We design around your power, layout, driver patterns, hours, revenue goals, and future growth. Whether 4 chargers or 80 stations, tailored, not templated.

EV Charging Strategy & Program

We go beyond single sites designing employee benefits, tenant amenities, fleet plans, and revenue programs. All aligned with your sustainability and business objectives.

Contractor & Utility Coordination

Managing contractors, permits, inspectors, and utilities is the hidden burden of EV projects. We handle all third-party coordination so your team stays focused on your business.

02 — Support & Warranty

The infrastructure behind
your uptime promise.

A commercial EV station that doesn't work is worse than no
station at all. Neon's support services are designed to prevent
downtime and respond decisively when issues occur.

01

Proactive Remote Monitoring

Every station on your Neon network is watched around the clock by our Network Operations Center. We don't wait for drivers to report problems our systems detect anomalies, connectivity issues, and performance degradation automatically, and our team intervenes before your drivers are affected.

Faults trigger immediate alerts and remote diagnostics. Over 80% of issues are resolved remotely without any site visit eliminating driver disruption and protecting your network's reputation.
02

On-Site Parts & Labor Warranty

Neon offers multiple warranties which can cover parts and labor for on-site repairs not just component shipping. When a commercial EV Station requires physical service, a certified Neon technician arrives with the right parts, on the timeline your SLA requires.

No coordination burden. No sourcing components yourself. Your warranty is a complete service commitment, not just a replacement parts policy

03

Driver & Operator Support

When drivers have questions or encounter issues, they reach a live Neon support agent. Our team resolves driver sessions, initiates refunds, and escalates hardware issues in real time.

For operators, a dedicated account contact handles configuration changes, reporting requests, and escalations. You have a person who knows your network not a ticket queue.

with higher availability requirements or larger portfolios can select Premium or Enterprise SLA tiers.

03 — Flexible Business Models

Your capital.
Your terms.
Your choice.

The right business model depends on your capital position, risk tolerance, and long-term objectives. Neon offers three distinct ownership and revenue structures and the expertise to help you choose the right one.

HOST OWNED
Own Your Infrastructure
You purchase and own the commercial EV station outright. You control pricing, access, and branding. Neon provides platforms, network services, and support. Best for operators seeking maximum control, full revenue retention, and long-term asset ownership.
Revenue ownership
100% of session revenue after payment processing fees goes to you, deposited directly to your account.
Capital asset on your balance sheet
Depreciate the hardware, retain the appreciating infrastructure asset as EV adoption grows.
Maximum grant eligibility
Most ZEVIP and provincial programs require host ownership. Our grant team maximizes your funding recovery.
Full control
Over pricing, access, and branding. Set rates, restrict access, and customize the driver experience for your property.
CHARGING AS A SERVICE
REVENUE SHARE
04 — Active Network Management

Your network, actively
managed for growth

Deploying commercial EV Stations is the beginning, not the end.
Neon's network management service continuously monitors,
optimizes, and evolves your charging program turning data into
decisions and decisions into ROI.

01
Reliability Management & Maintenance
Our NOC monitors every station 24/7. Predictive fault detection identifies degrading hardware performance before failure. Scheduled maintenance prevents unplanned downtime. We maintain your network health score and target above-industry-average uptime.
02
Driver Experience Optimization
Uptime is necessary but not sufficient. We monitor driver session success rates, error frequencies, payment friction points, and app interaction patterns and intervene proactively to ensure drivers have a consistently positive experience on your network.
03
Market Analysis & Competitive Intelligence
We track EV adoption trends, competitor pricing, nearby network activity, and local driver behavior patterns specific to your site type and market. This intelligence informs pricing decisions, expansion timing, and programming strategies so you're always ahead of the curve.
04
Proactive ROI Recommendations
We deliver a network performance review with specific, data-backed recommendations: pricing adjustments to capture more revenue, access rule changes to improve utilization, expansion signals based on demand data, and timing suggestions tied to local EV adoption rates.

Questions before you
sign on

The questions operators ask most before getting started.

What is Charging as a Service (CaaS) and is it right for my property?

Charging as a Service (CaaS) is a model where Neon owns and fully operates the EV charging infrastructure on your property. You pay a predictable monthly fee with a revenue share arrangement. You get all the benefits of EV charging without upfront capital, hardware ownership, or operational responsibility. CaaS is ideal for multifamily properties, hotels, corporate campuses, and any site where capital budgets are constrained or internal EV expertise isn't available.

How does Neon help with EV charging grants and incentives in Canada?

Neon has a dedicated grant team that identifies, applies for, and manages all available EV charging funding programs on your behalf including the federal NRCan ZEVIP program (up to 50% of eligible costs), provincial programs like Quebec's Roulez Vert, utility rebates... Our clients typically recover 40–75% of total project costs through programs they didn't know existed.

Can Neon handle a national or multi-province deployment?

Yes. Neon's consulting, support, and network management services are built for multi-site portfolios across Canada managed from a single team and unified platform. National rollouts include centralized project management, consolidated grant applications, standardized SLA coverage across all sites, and portfolio-level analytics and proactive recommendations.

Can Neon manage existing chargers we already have installed?

Yes. Because Neon's platform is built on OCPP open standards, we can connect and manage existing OCPP-compliant chargers from other providers alongside new Neon hardware. Our consulting, support, and network management services can be applied to existing infrastructure improving uptime, optimizing pricing, applying for expansion funding, and unifying a fragmented network under a single managed service.

What does it cost to engage Neon's consulting and services?

Initial consultation and funding assessment are provided at no charge as part of every project evaluation. Consulting and service fees are structured as part of the overall service agreement and vary by project scope, number of sites, and selected service tier. We provide a complete, transparent services proposal before any commitment is requested, no surprise costs, no pressure.
